The concept of a concentrated commercial credit and collection library actually began with the clients of Credit Decisions International Ltd., a national and international commercial collection agency founded in 1985 by Lou Figueroa. Over the years, as the Internet evolved into a legitimate business tool, it promised to be a phenomenal source of information for commercial creditors, but the information was scattered and research was time consuming. Time to surf the net is a luxury, and when the credit manager, the staff, the financial executive and the company owner need answers, they need them now.

What was missing was one website offering a condensed compilation of information, an uncluttered resource center for training and research. Commercial credit professionals asked for a clean, dedicated site, a bulletin board to share ideas, solid resources, documents they could download or print out, instructions for completing them. Very simply, they wanted a commercial credit library and meeting place, for themselves and their staffs.

That's CreditWatchdog.com and it has only begun. It will continue to expand, constantly be refined and always be responsive to the needs of the commercial credit industry.
